Blogpost #4: Isabel

Hi everyone :)

I’m Isabel, Commissioner of Communication and Media of the 78th Board — or you might know me as the person who likes to sing karaoke in the VSPVU room. 

Looking back on my Board year so far (and don’t worry, we’re not done yet!), I can honestly say it’s been an absolute blast. From designing promotion with my lovely Canva to bringing events to life (with karaoke sometimes, my personal specialty), this role gives me the chance to get creative every single day — and I love it. Whether it’s making story's, hyping up events on social media, or brainstorming fresh ideas, it’s all about making sure everyone’s in the loop and excited to join in.

One of the best parts? Working alongside our amazing Promotion Coordinators. The ideas, and creativity they bring to the table are what makes this so much fun. To all my lovely Promotion Coordinators: you’re absolute stars and you should be proud of your work! ❤️

Another part of being Board is organizing and planning the coolest events. Deciding on the theme for each event is (ofcourse) my favorite part! Moreover, working with committees to make their events shine and just enjoying the day-to-day buzz in the VSPVU-room keeps things exciting and dynamic. There is always something happening, which makes my social butterfly heart full <3

Since my Board year runs until early September, I’m super excited to see what else we can create and celebrate this summer — both for the association and with the upcoming Candidate Board.
